Description:

PREMIUM SILICA SAND FOR TILES & GLAZES MANUFACTURING High-Quality Raw Material for Superior Ceramic Tiles and Glaze Production We supply multiple grades of silica sand specifically designed for ceramic tiles and glaze manufacturing, sourced from premium MENA deposits (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Morocco). Our silica sand is the essential raw material for producing durable, beautiful ceramic tiles and high-quality glazes for various applications. PRODUCT RANGE: We offer 5 specialized grades ranging from ultra-high purity to industrial grade: • UC1 (Ultra Clear): Premium grade with SiO2 ≥ 99.5%, Fe2O3 ≤ 0.015% Ideal for ultra-white tiles and crystal-clear transparent glazes • A1 - B3 Grades: Standard to industrial grades with varying purity levels Optimized for different tile types and glaze applications Each grade is optimized for specific tile and glaze manufacturing applications and cost requirements. TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONS (UC1 - Ultra Clear Grade): Chemical Composition: • SiO2: ≥ 99.5% • Fe2O3: ≤ 0.015% (Ultra-low iron for brilliant whiteness) • Al2O3: ≤ 0.5% • CaO: ≤ 0.1% • MgO: ≤ 0.1% • TiO2: ≤ 0.05% • Alkali Metals (Na2O + K2O): ≤ 0.2% • Loss on Ignition: ≤ 0.5% TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONS (A1 - B3 Grades): A1 Grade (High Quality): • SiO2: ≥ 98.5%, Fe2O3: ≤ 0.05% • For premium white tiles and clear glazes B1 Grade (Standard): • SiO2: ≥ 97.5%, Fe2O3: ≤ 0.1% • For standard wall and floor tiles B2 Grade (Commercial): • SiO2: ≥ 96.5%, Fe2O3: ≤ 0.15% • For colored tiles and opaque glazes B3 Grade (Industrial): • SiO2: ≥ 95.0%, Fe2O3: ≤ 0.2% • For construction tiles and industrial glazes Physical Properties (All Grades): • Grain Size: 0.05-0.8mm (varies by application) • Color: White to off-white (varies by grade) • Moisture: < 0.5% • Bulk Density: 1.5-1.6 g/cm³ • Hardness: 7 (Mohs scale)
